Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
So far, nine months after 9-11, this group (and others in Congress) have determined that (a) Muslim extremists do not like America and would like to kill us all; (b) intelligence and security failures allowed the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon to happen; and (c) the FBI, CIA and others were way too politically correct in not following up on numerous reports that suspicious Middle Eastern men were taking flight training on American soil. So, given this magnificent sleuth work by our country's elected officials, just when can we expect the revelation that the earth is round? |
