The 2000 Presidential Election
Periodically, we need to remind roughly 48% of the country that the 2000 Presidential Election was over more than five years ago . Furthermore, as of Sept. 11, 2001, the 2000 Presidential Election officially became irrelevant. Given the poisonous political atmosphere that reached new lows in 2005, it seems like a good way to start the New Year by reminding people of this reality. For the record, it might be also good to point out to these nostalgic individuals that the Vietnam War ended over thirty years ago as well. |
